Varsity / JV Volleyball
Head coach Chris Ingle
Chris Ingle is the Head Coach of the Varsity volleyball team and the Director of LOA’s volleyball program. He also serves as the Director of Athletics and Activities for the school. Coach Ingle took over the volleyball program 6 years ago, when it was varsity only and had 8 girls on the team. In 2021, full schedules were played at the intramural league, middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels. 88 girls participated on volleyball teams at LOA in the fall of 2021. The varsity team has made the GHSA state playoffs for the last 6 years, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite 8 in 2021. Two LOA players have won Area Player of the Year.
